每一片落葉﹐都是一聲嘆息

這棵樹在我出生時
就已經在了。

少說也和我一樣看了
20多年的日出日落

不知道這棵樹上
是否有鳥兒築窩呢

看到了這樣的畫面﹐
不禁想起“屍橫遍野”
這四個字

以前我家附近還有片樹林。
那裡很寧靜﹐偶爾會看見一群一群的小猴子在裡頭嬉戲
後來這片樹林被政府圍了起來﹐說是要建學校
起初沒什麼動靜﹐
樹木仍然高高地﹐靜靜地聳立著﹐
也不知道過了多久
直到有一天我經過﹐才赫然發現樹都不見了

知道什麼是夷為平地嗎?

我第一次看見了樹林原來的地形。
而上面只剩下鏟泥機﹑起重機在肆虐
圍攔上還重複地印了這樣的字
“NParks. Let’s make Singapore our garden.”
多諷刺啊.

此時此刻﹐在世界的某一個角落﹐
也有著相同的事在發生
樹木被砍伐﹐生態平衡遭破壞
每一片落葉﹐都是一聲嘆息
只是有人聽見了嗎?

“人類永無止盡地開發。我當然明白人類有人類的需要﹐
但是人類卻絲毫不明白自然也有自然的需要。”

juz like the requests for programs i get:
i'd like the students to experience nature. lets go visit yishun park...
or
i want them to understand nature via growing their own plants. what are the ways we can modify the plants ah?...
wtf?! didn't nature come from the word natural? meaning untouched/original? since when were man-made parks and hybrid plants natural? or did the dictionary change without me knowing?

Heh I figure NParks is being truthful when they say Lets Make Singapore Our Garden.
Gardens are by definition artificially maintained~~
The government probably thinks that "preserving" BTNR is enough justification to wipe out every other bits of natural vegetation we have in Spore.

And are you online now? Thought I'm the only nightowl, with everyone working~ ^^
